Understanding Additional Charges with MarTech (app.ajaxunion.com)

When you sign up for a subscription with us, you get access to a full suite of marketing automation and customer relationship management tools, all streamlined within your MarTech platform. We're committed to offering the most flexibility for your needs, which is why some services are billed on a usage basis. This way, you only pay for what you use and can scale according to your needs.

Most Common Additional Fees

• Text messages (SMS): $0.00913 per segment

• Outbound calls: $0.0154 per minute

• Inbound calls: $0.00935 per minute

• Email sends: $0.000709 per email (about $7 per 10,000 emails)

• Email verification: $0.002625 per email (about $10 verifies roughly 3,800 contacts — optional but recommended once per contact on upload to keep your list clean)

• Conversation AI: $0.021 per message

• Voice AI: $0.1365 per voice minute

• Content AI: $0.0945 per 1,000 words, $0.063 per image

1. Phone System

A powerful VoIP solution integrated directly within your dashboard. It lets you manage calls, track phone interactions with customers, and keep all communication centrally stored. Charges are based on actual usage: outbound calls at $0.0154 per minute, inbound calls at $0.00935 per minute, and text messages at $0.00913 per segment. (A text segment is 160 characters — longer messages are split into multiple segments and billed accordingly.)

2. Email System

Supports high-volume marketing campaigns and transactional emails, billed by volume at $0.000709 per email (roughly $7 per 10,000 sends). This keeps your costs in line with your marketing activity while giving you a scalable platform for all your email needs.

3. Email Validation

Clean, verified email lists are crucial for landing in the inbox. Validation reduces bounces and improves deliverability. Charged at $0.002625 per email checked, applied once per contact on upload.

4. Dedicated IP Address

For businesses with high email volume or stricter security requirements, a dedicated IP ensures your sending isn't affected by other users' activity, giving you more control over your sending reputation. Billed monthly per IP reserved.

5. Premium Triggers & Actions

Automation can be enhanced with premium triggers and actions for more sophisticated workflows — integrating with third-party apps or automating advanced conditions. Charged at $0.0105 per execution.

6. Content AI

Generates on-brand, optimized content quickly — social posts, email content, product descriptions, and more. Charged at $0.0945 per 1,000 words generated and $0.063 per image.

7. Conversation AI & Voice AI

Keep customer interactions efficient and consistent around the clock. Conversation AI handles text and chat conversations — answering questions, qualifying leads, and booking appointments — at $0.021 per message. Voice AI answers and places phone calls in a natural voice at $0.1365 per voice minute. (Standard phone-system charges in Section 1 apply to the call itself, in addition to the Voice AI rate.)

8. Ask AI & AI Studio

Ask AI lets you build inside the platform using plain-English requests, and AI Studio lets you create custom AI assistants trained on your business. Both are billed by tokens at $6.33 per 1,000,000 tokens (roughly 750,000 words of AI processing). See the note on tokens below.

9. Agent Studio

For building advanced, specialized AI agents. Charged at $0.2625 per 750,000 words processed.

10. External AI Models in Workflows

When your workflows call an external AI model (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google), usage is billed by the model you select: $0.63 per 750,000 words for standard models and $2.52 per 750,000 words for premium models.

11. Workflow AI

For organizations that need intricate workflows, Workflow AI uses advanced automation to predict and recommend actions. Chargeable elements include premium actions (Section 5) and any external AI models used (Section 10).

12. Funnel AI

Generates complete funnels and landing pages from a simple prompt. Charged at $1.0395 per funnel generated.

13. Review AI

For reputation management, Review AI analyzes and drafts responses to customer reviews, ensuring prompt, professional feedback on platforms like Google and Yelp. Charges are based on the number of reviews processed.

14. WhatsApp

Communicate directly with customers on WhatsApp. Billed at $0.0777 per message, so you only pay for your outreach.

15. Domains

Connect a custom domain to your funnels, websites, and emails. Charged at $10.50 per domain.

16. Yext Online Listings

Keeps your business information consistent and up to date across directories — critical for local SEO and visibility. Billed monthly.

17. WordPress Hosting

Host your WordPress site directly on our platform for seamless integration, speed optimization, and security. Charges apply based on storage and traffic needs.

18. Marketplace Services

Our Marketplace offers additional services such as content creation, SEO, and paid advertising, with usage-based charges so you can customize support as needed.

A note on tokens

Several AI tools are billed by tokens. A token is a small chunk of text — roughly ¾ of a word, or about four characters. Every AI interaction counts both the text sent to the AI and the text it generates back. A short request uses very few tokens; a long back-and-forth with lots of history uses more. That's why two interactions that feel similar can cost different amounts. As a rule of thumb, 1,000,000 tokens is about 750,000 words.

These rates reflect current usage pricing and may change as underlying carrier and AI provider costs change.
